This error occurs when the TAP Windows adapter is malfunctioning, or when you have multiple adapters installed on your system.

Solution

1. Uninstall TAP Windows on your computer.
2. Download TAP Windows from OpenVPN.net and go through the installation process.
3. Now try reconnecting to OVPN.
