At OVPN, you're allowed to delete your account at any time, for any reason. Do note that if you currently have a subscription with us through Apple Pay, this will not automatically cancel your subscription, as the subscription for is handled through Apple Pay. You would need to separately cancel your subscription through Apple.
To delete your account, follow these steps:
- Log in to our website
- Go to your Profile
- Scroll down to Verify ownership and click on Generate one-time code
- Copy the one-time code that's generated by our website, and contact our support with your desire to delete your account. Include the one-time code in the message. You can contact our support either through the chat widget in the lower-right side of our website, by sending an email to support@ovpn.com, or by submitting a request through our contact form.
The one-time code serves the triple purpose of verifying your ownership of the account, allow us to locate your account without asking for username or email address, and authorizes us to make changes to the account, such as deleting the account.
Do note that deleting your account will immediately cause you to lose access to your account. This includes any remaining subscription time.
